EVERY GIRL HAS A DREAM

Room to Read

From Anna in Tanzania who dreams of being a lawyer to help street children, to Tomkham in Laos who wants to be a flight attendant so she can see the world, Room to Read’s Girls Education Yearbooks explore the progress and aspirations of the girls in their programs in Asia and Africa. Each year, we introduce you to different scholars, using fun illustrations, spirited photo essays and quotes from family, friends and mentors to bring their stories to life. Those new to Room to Read will learn about the organization’s work, and volunteers and donors can see the profound impact of their contributions.

MEET INKHAM
To create a web companion to the Girls’ Education Yearbook, we developed this endearing video about a typical day in the life of Room to Read scholar and 5th grader Inkham from Laos.
