CREATING TOOLS TO ANALYZE CONFLICT

The Conflict-Related Development Analysis is designed to enhance the understanding of conflict drivers, peace engines and stakeholders in a regional context, in order to develop realistic programming and policy objectives. To create a truly helpful tool, we designed a user-friendly, modular manual to outline the step-by-step process of conducting the analysis. For work in remote field locations, we created a mobile app version, so the entire manual can be carried in pocket. The design elements used on chapter openers suggest a topographic map with areas of conflict gradually giving way to healthy communities.
